Weddings & Celebrations

With its lakeside backdrop and charming Victorian ambiance, Camron-Stanford House is a distinctive setting for weddings, corporate entertaining or other special celebrations.  Whether you host an intimate dinner in our dining room or a grand wedding reception under a tent in the garden, you can be assured of our personal assistance every step of the way.

There are four distinct venues available for rent.

Victorian Dining Room  – Our formal entry hall with its grand staircase and the Victorian dining room are a lovely backdrop for your intimate dinner or wedding.  The dining room is suitable for groups of 10-12.

Crafts Revival Room – Perfect for corporate retreats, board meetings, or club meetings, the space can seat up to 50 guests at round tables or 75 with stadium seating.

Veranda & Garden  -  The veranda overlooking Lake Merritt can seat up to 100 at round tables while up to 250 guests can be seated on the lawn.  Tents can be used on the lawn for a weatherproof option.

Museum Period Rooms – Although they cannot be used for entertaining, the museum rooms can be opened and staffed by Camron-Stanford docents during events for an additional fee. 

Camron-Stanford House works with a variety of caterers, event planners, florists and photographers.  Our vendor list is limited to those companies or individuals who are familiar with the house and its unique characteristics.  For a current list of vendors, click here.

We pride ourselves on our outstanding customer service and want to speak with each prospective couple or client personally.
