October 15, Noon Mourning Becomes Her, Noon Lecture. Jo Ann Stabb is a designer, author and lecturer focusing on the field of fashion and wearable art. She will explain how women’s clothing was an integral part of 19th century mourning. $25 pp ($15 member) Ticket price includes a tour of the Morbid Desire Exhibit at 1 pm.
October 21, 6 and 8 pm. Morbid Cinema featuring the premier of Rituals of Remembrance by local filmmakers Maggie Simpson-Adams and Elizabeth Sher. We’ll provide the popcorn and soda and Maggie and Liz will be available for Q & A after the film. Two seatings: 6 and 8 pm. $25 pp ($15 members)

October 29, Noon Seance and Sensibility with CSHPA docent Chelsea Burton. Spiritualism and the desire to connect with the dead was an obsession with Victorians. Why?
